About this Book: |
|
Just as the pieces of a Crazy Patch quilt are varied in size and shape and sewn together with stitches fancy or plain, our lives vary from day to day and year to year and are sewn together with stitches of love, some fancy and meticulously done, some plain and simple, some fraying over time.
This collection of poems by Ruth Y. Nott is representative of her crazy patch life, some bright and new, some showing their age, some seemingly finding their way here from an alternate universe. Just as our lives twist and turn on a whim, so does this poetry patchwork.
Four chapters appear for your reading pleasure...
The Children's Pallet: 15 poems to share with your children or to just bring a smile to your own inner child.
A Patchwork Sampler: As varied as the author's thoughts as these 23 poems reflecting friendship, aging, death, spirituality, and respect.
Odd Scraps: Sometimes our minds seem to wander into the ethereal and often dark realms and one never knows just what might emerge.
Love's Many Patterns: Love in all its many forms, respectful, troubled, lustful, regretful, and hopeful.
