About this Book: |
|
The book is not designed to be the last word on the matter of “wine” or “grape juice” as the element to be used in the Supper. So long as men allow their emotions, prejudice, and wrong data to override a “thus saith the Lord,” the question will never be settled. However, truth must be contended for, regardless of the opposition or misunderstanding of men (Jude 3).
Readers of the book should be aware that when the word “wine” is employed, the reference is to the fermented product; when the term “grape juice” is used, the reference is to the unfermented state. It is as incongruous to speak of “unfermented wine” as it is to speak of “unwet” water.
