This is a compilation of diary entries from 1938 - 1976 along with a family tree and many photos.
Minnie Harm was a lifelong resident of Harsens Island, MI. Her father-in-law, William Christian Harm, managed Tashmoo Park until 1921. When he retired, management of the park was turned over to his son, William Carl Harm. Bill, as he was known, along with his wife, Minnie, managed Tashmoo Park until the mid-1940's. Bill eventually got a job at the island school driving the school bus during the 1950's. Minnie supplemented their income by working part time at the post office.
Along the way, they had three children, William, Harold and Dolly. When the diaries begin in 1938, the boys have married and Dolly is still at the island school.
The Life and Times of Minnie Harm explores one woman's thoughts about family and friends, Harsens Island and even world events that made an impact on her and those she loved.
