About this Book:

“And One More Thing...” offers a rare inside look at the everyday life of a very busy, south Georgia farm family in the 1930’s and 1940’s, and at Southern farming itself during that event-laden chapter of American history. The sixth of nine children born into this family, the author presents his lively and historically significant account in a clear, conversational style that beckons one to keep on reading.

About the Author:

Jesse Felma Moore holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Georgia. After a four-year tour of duty in the Air Force’s Strategic Air Command, he entered the professional ranks of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Upon retiring in 1994, after spending the major part of his long agricultural career in Washington, DC, he began jotting down farm memories. This book is the end result. In addition to writing, his interests include world history, family genealogy, astronomy, travel and grandchildren. Jesse and his wife, Nancy Burns, are long-time residents of Alexandria, Virginia.
