Book Review: |
|
This book is like having your favorite teacher working alonside of you in your classroom every day, helping out with stunning insights, great and practical ideas, and sharing the passion you have for teaching children!
Beth Mackey, Colleague, Teacher and Principal
Jean gets at the core issues in education, that without a positive relationship with each student, based on mutual respect and responsibility, no learning is possible. The book is an inspirational work, whether you are beginning your career, or are a seasoned educator.
Mariann Bentz, Teacher, Minneapolis Public Schools
I used Jean's book with my third and fourth grade class. Tthe students learned to take responsibility for their learning, to respect others and to learn from each other. The idea of respect, responsibility and relationship being taught with subjects such as social studies, math, reading, science and writing is too good to be true in one book!
Ann Thomas, teacher, Minneapolis Public Schools
