About the Author: |

George Van Antwerp is a cerified social worker, who has a history of involvement in programs serving the poor and minorities. He was a priest for seventeen years and, after marrying over thirty years ago, he has been a Peace Corps area director, a social service program director, hospital administrator. He has received numerous awards for community service, most recently from the Detroit Latino Center and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
