Erin Doggette is the Director of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at Stetson University. In this role, she builds on her nearly two decades of teaching in secondary and postsecondary classrooms and her experience as an Instructional Specialist. Erin’s primary goal has always been to educate and instruct using the most digestible methods possible. She always strives to teach in ways she wished she had been taught. Putting these methods into practice sparked an ability for Erin to reach diverse audiences of various ages, ethnicities, languages, cultural experiences, and identities. She prides herself in being an innovative creator who desires to share with everyone her passion for teaching and learning. Erin is a lifelong learner, and her educational career demonstrates her passion for learning. She earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Andrews University, an Ed.S. in Curriculum & Instruction from La Sierra University, and an M.A. in English Language Arts & Secondary Education and B.A. in English from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Erin is a mother, wife, Gigi, dog-mom, educator, speaker, conference organizer, author, facilitator, AI enthusiast, advocate for students and teachers, and consultant.
This book is dedicated to all of those who have paved the way for me to have an opportunity to be creative and innovative; those who have given me room to take risks, and those who offer their unwavering support of all my endeavors.
