About this Book:

This book reflects the author's journey through 1940 to 1960 living in a very small iron range town, called Pengilly, Minnesota. Through poems and short stories he tells of a young boy and his adventures, and the people that made such an impression in his life. He tells of times gone by and observations of a lifetime.

About the Author:

Donald W. Fiskewold was raised on the iron range in Pengilly, Minnesota. He married Marilyn A. Stuntebeck and raised eight children, and now lives in Blaine, Minnesota with his daughter Lisa. He has also published a children's book called Valakri, about a little reindeer born on Christmas Eve.

Book Review:

A wonderful insight to small town living of a time gone by through short stories and poems.
