About this Book: |
|
Throughout the author’s career in chamber of commerce management, mostly in Texas, he found a lot to laugh about – and reflect on – in the situations, adventures and personalities that he encountered.
Charlie Dromgoole inherited the story-telling gene from his small-town Baptist minister father. Those close to Charlie know that he loves to tell stories and can come up with one – on less than a moment’s notice – on just about any topic, based on his experiences.
This book is not a how-to manual on chamber management, but rather a collection of some of the author’s favorite anecdotes and observations. It is a personal, humorous, insightful look at things that happened along the way as he worked to make his corner of the world a little better place.
