Brett Harriman grew up in Dana Point, California, and has worked in the
tourism business most of his adult life. He lived in the Australian
state of New South Wales for a decade and in Europe for five years,
where he was an official tour guide for the U.S. Armed Forces in
Germany. In that role he escorted more than 10,000 servicemen and
women and their families through many historically rich cities,
towns, villages and Alpine hamlets.
