Arthur W. Hendon was born near Forreston, Tx. in 1928. He graduated from Texas Tech with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Geology in 1951. Work experience was in the oil & gas industry primarily in West Texas. Additional accomplishments include: Captain - High School Basketball Team, Eagle Scout, served in the Coast Guard as a MoMM 3/c, Private Pilot and retired from the Civil Air Patrol as a Lt. Col.
